The only way to really know your health is to know your numbers. At Lennar, we believe in the proactive approach of being “All In” when it comes to our health + well-being.

  • Blood Pressure:
What is blood pressure? When your heart beats, it pumps blood through the blood vessels. High blood pressure means the force of your blood against the blood vessels is too high. Over time, this strains the heart and damages blood vessels.
Dangers of high blood pressure: Serious damage to important organs, like the heart, brain, and kidneys.
  • BMI/Waist Circumference: What is BMI? Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on your height and weight. What is Waist Circumference? The measure of your waist in inches. More weight at the waist can mean a higher risk for disease. Dangers of high BMI/Waist Circumference: Increased risk for serious disease, including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, and some cancers.
  • Cholesterol: What is cholesterol? A fat-like substance that our bodies need to make hormones, vitamin D, and substances that help digest food. But too much of LDL, or the bad cholesterol, can lead to serious health risks. Dangers of high LDL Cholesterol: Coronary heart/artery disease, heart attack, and stroke.
  • Glucose: What is glucose? Your blood glucose is a simple blood sugar that is your body’s main source of energy. But blood glucose levels higher or lower than the normal range can cause serious health problems. Dangers of high blood glucose levels: Type 2 diabetes, which can cause damage to the heart, kidneys, nerves, blood vessels, and eyes.
